What is Yoga?

Yoga is the balancing of fluctuations of the mind. Uniting mind body and soul Yoga originated from Indian and Hindu roots, and has been practiced for 1000’s of years all over the world Anyone can do Yoga as the main focus is to become one with yourself through Asanas, Pranayama and Meditations. If you are interested in a journey of self-discovery, to learn how to quiet the mind, Yoga is right for you.

No matter what style of yoga you choose to do, you will likely see improvements in many areas of your health. By practicing regularly you can:

As you move down the list it goes from vigorous, flow-style classes to the more relaxing passive classes, finishing with restorative yoga. I started my Yoga journey 3 years ago, attending classes in the area, mainly for exercise and physical health.... not realizing that Yoga would be the one thing that would bring me to the amazing spot in my life that I am currently in.. I decided to do the Yoga instructor course and to my surprise, it taught me more than I could ever imagine. Yoga taught me to still the mind, let go of unnecessary guilt and negative feelings. I have been teaching now for over a year, have inspired many students to follow their visions and to become one with themselves. Most recently I traveled to India to further my studies in Yoga. I had an amazing trip, full of unique adventures and learned a lot about myself and the art of Yoga from the place where Yoga was started. I look forward to you attending my classes and helping you on your journey of self-discovery.
